Who We Are

About Doubleday Communications

Doubleday Commuications helps businesses tell their story and build loyal communities of customers.

Doubleday Communications has been developing and implementing creative and people-centered marketing and communications strategies for like minded businesses and non-profit organizations since 2012.

We believe that serving people-first and developing genuine relationships are non-negotiable priorities when building a sustainable and successful business. At the core of our work is the commitment to connect you and your business to the people who matter the most — your customers and your community.

Our best work comes from great client relationships. Over the years, we have naturally gravitated toward people and projects involved in hospitality, great food, and those with a mission to support underserved communities of people; all of which lead with the love of their product and the individuals they serve.

The power of our work is only amplified by the other great professionals that we partner with to deliver on our commitment to excellent results. From developers to media designers to public relations support, working with Doubleday Communications gives you access to and support from a community of providers.

Clients work with us to increase their visibility through: new media marketing strategies, omni-channel advertising campaigns, event development and execution, earned media coverage via skillful storytelling, content development tactics, and brand voice and positioning strategy.

About Joanna DoubledayMeet Joanna Doubleday

For as long as I can remember, I have had a passion for business and a drive to work. As a kid, I recorded commercials for fake clients on my little pink Casio tape recorder. As a Girl Scout, I developed a love for sales. And at 15, I did what every good local Santa Cruz teenager did, I got my first job at Marini’s, slingin’ candy.

Outside of the office, I love meeting new people who share my passion not only for marketing and business but also for coffee, a good meal, Catahoulas, strengthening community, and all the other great stuff that comes with living and working in Santa Cruz County.
